The room itself was a nice size and had all your basic amenities and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable we have stayed in! "The inn was some. distance from town but we took a bus at it was an enjoyable adventure. Rooms were small but very comfortable and what you would expect from a pub/inn. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were delicious. Would recommend this establishment if visiting Oxford."

"We stumbled onto the Artist’s Residence, and fell in love with it. There room s are so cozy and so artfully designed and decorated. The staff was wonderful. They helped in any way they could. The pub is from another era, a wonderful era. The food is great. The other customers were friendly and interesting. Next time we are anywhere near the area, we’re going to be staying there."
