Gorgeous hotel with an amazing view of the mountains in Munnar. I did a spa treatment while I was there which was also very nice. All the staff were lovely.

Well maintained resort with friendly, polite and courteous staff. From check-in to check-out, had an amazing experience. The valley view from the room was spectacular and the resorts green space was very well maintained. Front desk staff greets you, escorts you to the room and politely shows the amenities in the room. Food at the buffet breakfast and dinner was delicious with a wide variety of Indian and continental dishes. The restaurant manager AkhiI and his staff provided excellent service. I also used the spa for a three day massage therapy. The massage therapist was very good and I felt rejuvenated after the session. Overall an excellent stay and will stay at this resort again.

So much of noise in above floor and they are renovating the property, not able to sleep properly, so much drilling sounds and floor walking sounds, its not look like 5 star property and not good in room cleaning,

The property is very tired. Despite only being 6 years old (so we were told) it looks more like a few decades old from the state of it - bubbling paint on walls, chips and cracks and just a bit dirty everywhere with old looking furniture and decor and a musty smell throughout. We stayed at the Fragrant Nature in Kochi and loved it. That’s why we chose to stay here in Munnar but it just hasn’t been looked after as well. All fixable though with a bit of love from hotel management. On the positive side the views were amazing and the walking activities were great with a knowledgeable guide. The food was good but not great for Kerala food (the bar is high though!) and the staff were very attentive - although being woken up both mornings by them calling our room to see if we were joining an activity or headed to breakfast was far from ideal.

Sadly we didn’t have a nice stay at this hotel. The doubles rooms are let out to large families and as a result the property is full of children, screaming, shouting, squealing and running around . It’s awful ! Two children were playing on our private patio when we arrived and we had to move rooms . The breakfast is terrible, such poor quality with stale food so much so I didn’t eat anything and then didn’t attend for breakfast again ! When we checked out my husband went to lay the bill whilst I met our driver with bags and the security guard tried to prevent me from leaving and I had to tell him not to be so rude, we were not running away without paying and he could see my husband at reception but still tried to prevent me taking my suitcase to my driver ! Never have I been so insulted . Such rudeness ! Even when my husband said we hadn’t used the mini bar they made him wait in reception until they had sent someone to check . We are most insulted ! This is rude and unprofessional ! If I’ve used something I’ll pay for it, I won’t steal or runaway ! This is the second time I have stayed at a Fragrant Nature hotel but there will not be a third ! It is a holiday camp hotel for large families not a five star resort !

The experience was very pathetic. This property doesn't deserve to be a 5 star. 1. There's no-one at front desk during night to take your query/issue. 2. The food was tasteless and overpriced. 3. The showers were not working properly and no-one addressed it. You need to ask for dental kits and body lotions which should be provided by default. 4. The bar was not functional and they didn't inform about it earlier. 5. For any service at dining, you need to ask 3-4 times. 6. The games room is not at all maintained. The staff has only 1 solution for all your problems "We are sorry sir/ma'am". Overall, it deserves even less than 1 star rating. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED

Wonderful location with excellent rooms and SPA

Fragrant Nature is located on hill side. Location is superb. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, creating a very nice atmosphere. They have excellent SPA services. Food is nothing special but good.
