"If a friend told me they were traveling to New Orleans, I would immediately recommend Hotel Provincial. In the 4 days we were there, we only needed to take a Lyft one time because everything was so walkable. The French Market is literally around the corner. "It is on a quiet edge of the french Quarter. Unusually for the area, it has private parking in a locked garage about 5 minutes walk away. I think we were upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. The room was fine, not terribly big, but the balcony was an absolute delight! Covered; on 2nd floor (3rd in USA); great view down street; sun morning and evening. All staff on desk very friendly."

"This was such. great stay at a lovely, charming, quirky and historic hotel. It is in the heart of things, and handy for all NOLA highlights, but is still quiet and peaceful.
