I cannot recall if there was an iron previously but we did miss this - perhaps a mini foldable ironing board and iron could be provided. "Very cool location and quite relaxing. Needs some improvement on the interior and exterior of the cottage though as a lot of things were worn. It was quite windy while we were there and the wind blew most of the smoke coming the fireplace back inside which made everything smell like smoke, including our clothes in our suitcases. It did improve the feeling of being in a remote location, but still, this is probably not what you want. Overall quite good and value for money."

"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. The room was beautful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of cooked to order choices, and I will miss dining next to the fire in the evenings - the chef was amazing! Thank you to all the staff at Grande Roche - keep up the amazing work!"
