"This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used...

"I called to confirm with the property that my reservation was canceled. I spoke with Expedia who shared they would reach out but I wanted to be safe and follow up. I spoke with Barbra, who was amazing. Actually someone who should be running the place after my experience. She advised I call in the morning and speak with Mike or Kim - the managers on site. "Scammed out of hard earned money. The clerk claimed to not have my reservation even though everything was confirmed and she tried to double to cost. I rejected the offer. Still haven’t received a refund for the reservation they supposedly didn’t receive. Seems pretty fishy to me."

"Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. The staff was incredibly attentive- always make sure we had what we needed. If you pass them outside, they are always checking in with you, which i really appreciated it. "Private, cozy place that’s comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. Nice small town area but easy access to Hamburg, Orchard Park, and Buffalo. "
