"We just returned from a week at Turtle Beach. It is a beautiful resort but if you’re a beach person, it’s not for you. While it’s listed as on the Caribbean, it’s actually more on the Atlantic side and the beach water is always rough. We did not have one day when we could go out in the water. We went to the sister resort one day which had the beautiful Caribbean beach and water. However, taxi fare was $80 roundtrip to get there. The only other negatives are they don’t restock your fridge in your room except with water, room service incurs a $15 delivery fee every time you use it and entertainment is lacking. The good news is it is a beautiful resort, pools are beautiful, rooms are beautiful, great a/c, food is average for all inclusive but the best part is the staff, especially Winston. All of the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They even went and got us distilled water for our breathing machines. If you don’t care about the beach, this is a great resort."
