Slovenia Hotels with Swimming Pools

"We loved the traditional nature of the property and of course its position in relation to the lake. It is really handy for everything and the views off the balcony are excellent. I enjoyed a nice swim although it is just a pool for relaxation really and not large enough for proper swimming. Hot tub with a view lovely though. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we wanted to explore the town, so can’t comment on food more generally....

"We stayed in Bled for one night on a longer trip through Croatia and Slovenia, and the Grand Hotel Toplice wasn't our most luxurious stay. Our room was quite small (not a lot of room for laying out suitcases we had from our long trip) and not very renovated. The bathroom was small but fine. "The hotel is down a small side street off the main walkway along the river. There are lots of dining options in the immediate vicinity, and the Vander Urbani has a restaurant where we ate breakfast each morning. Our spacious room was contemporary, with a large bath enclosed by a glass wall with curtains for privacy. Double windows shut out the noise from people dining alfresco nearby. We like it, and would recommend to friends."

"We upgraded to a deluxe room, which was so grand. Great views from the patio (small table and chairs). Wish we'd had more time to take advantage of the amenities, but dinner at their restaurant (in the Michelin guide) and breakfast outside on their covered patio were lovely. "

"Loved this hotel! The overall facility was stunning, but the room itself was lacking. The best part was the breakfast buffet, the staff and the location! It's a little out from Lake Bled, but I prefer to be away from the touristy areas! Pros: The hotel has a lot to offer, from the pool and spa to the staff and restaurant! Cons: The bed wasn't very comfortable and the room looked like it needed some regular maintenance. I highly recommend!!!"
