"The hotel is located close to the Kuching Hilton, and is a short walk uphill from the Waterfront. The property presents itself as an up-market establishment and makes a great impression upon arrival. However once inside, one is slightly underwhelmed. Parking is shared with the shopping center downstairs and is not complementary. The air conditioning in the room did not cool fully despite adjusting the controls. The TV stations offered did not match what was printed in the list in the room. Sometimes it was difficult to get towels at the swimming pool. Also housekeeping sometimes missed replenishing the in-room amenities. Most disappointing was neither the front desk nor housekeeping answered when telephoned from the room. Overall, it just missed on making itself the premier destination in town."
