"Great location across from the train station, wonderful staff on check in. Complimentary apples and water daily, and a kettle and microwave for use in the lobby. Room was clean, and modern. Shower was large with a rain and handhed option water heated up right away, but only shampoo was available (no body wash/conditioner)
It was it was surprisingly warm for end April and without AC / the # of pigeons outside I was a little concerned opening the window - but no fault of the hotel! "

"We had a wonderful day at hotel Stein. Salzburg is such a lovely city and the hotel is nicely situated to see all the wonderful sites. Hotel staff went above and beyond. Arman provided us with great service and great recommendations. We would totally stay here again."
