"VERY large (c60 x 12 ft) and clean one bedroom apartment in the stable block. Comfortable bed, instant hot water for powerful shower, well appointed kitchen. Large lounge had two comfortable big setees and a dining table. I think one of the settees converts to a bed. Nice new carpets and very clean overall The grounds are beautiful and provide super views across Rutland Water and the rolling countryside Staff at the hotel were very friendly

"A proper Jewel in a crown of a County. About 10 mins from Oakham and 15 from the A1. Located in one of the many chocolate box villages. Large open bars and restaurant where nothing was too much trouble. Large car park and idyllic upper permenant Gazebo area with tables and comfy furniture. We ate outside under the canopy relaxed by the sound of the waterfall. The place was so quiet and relaxing that we felt we had the place to ourselves. So much so we stayed there all afternoon/evening and...
