"This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent setting with great facilities and a very attentive team. 5 star service. The amravali suites are very nice. However the hotel does seem to attract quite annoying guests, the north Indian middle classes who are crude in their behaviours. "This is not a five star hotel. In fact, it's barely a three star. It is far from the fort and up a long, bumpy road so when you arrive, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The staff earnestly tries to be helpful but they're clueless, slow and inefficient. I ordered a gin and tonic at lunch time and it came after I had finished my meal. The hotel exterior is pretty and the rooms are large. That said, there are no amenities besides a tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner. The soap...

"It has a wonderful view of the Great Wall of India and the Aravalli Mountains from the balcony. From there, it’s just a 4‑km walk to the fort entrance — we did it, and it was an amazing experience."

"A strictly average property. Best for a few nights. It's called Sree Leela Palace by the way and Papaya Leaf is the name of the group that owns it. and while it's a 5 min walk to the temple which is the best part it's slightly off the main road and hard to locate if you are coming for the first time. Rooms are compact. Air conditioning in the rooms worked well. Power cuts did happen a few times during the day but manageable. Wifi was ok. The category of the room we had booked was not given to us...

"A little off the main road needing a dirt track to get to, however the accommodation is set into lovely surroundings looking over the river below. Room was large with large patio and bathroom. Clean throughout and good AC. Comfortable bed. Limited for transport here unless you have your own, so taxi costs can amount quite quickly. Need to walk up to the main road (10 mins) for additional dinning options."
