"Unfortunately our first room we couldn’t open the door so we were moved to another, the 2nd room the shower did not work we were moved again to the best room in the house..the toilet cistern didn’t work. On the first 2 occcasions the staff were aware of the issues.
We had breakfast and salt and pepper shakers were empty, we knew the place was old and weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel however the basics are not negotiable.
All the staff were lovely and took care of these items quickly."

"Staff was dismissive and rude.
No WiFi no outlet for phone charger- told this is the UK.
TV was not working. The mattress was old. The worst mattress that I ever slept on.
Decent breakfast.
I would not recommend staying here."

"Didn't realize it wasn't as convenient as they said it was, The hotel is beyond dated & expensive . 2/10 of the way down the road there are places to stay that are much better in quality and care. I actually didn't feel good about taking a shower in this hotel that's the bathroom was dirty . Bed and pillows were uncomfortable and it was hot in the room with very little air to make it comfortable. Almost a non-existent Wi-Fi. It's below Expedia standards as far as we're concerned. We've been...
