"We absolutely LOVED our stay at Hotel Godafoss!! What really stood out to us was the caring, attentive, approachable and generous staff, specifically the owner/operator of the property. She puts everything she has into making sure you have a lovely stay. She's put a lot of love into her meals at the restaurant, and we all had an excellent dinner after a long day of hiking. We had to make a last minute change of hotel plans due to another hotel falsely advertising amenities (like laundry facilities) and the cleanliness of their location. The owner of Hotel Godafoss helped us out tremendously by taking our laundry, and we snagged the last two rooms she had available. The rooms are definitely small and cozy, but the location is PERFECT! From a delicious on-site, family-run restaurant to being steps away from Godafoss where you can walk the trails late in the evening practically alone...it was the absolute perfect stay for us."
