"Beautiful accommodations - up to date, spacious room, large bathroom. The grounds were very attractive and well kept. Dining was very good which is nice since the lodge is a bit out of the way from other options. Good location - not too far from San Jose and close to the Poas Volcano National Park and not far from the La Paz Waterfalls."

The staff was very friendly and polite and were fluent in English so there was not a language barrier. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I recommend staying here. I will visit again"

"I'm a native English speaker, but some of the hotel staff spoke limited English. I tried to learn as much as I could before my trip, and it was really helpful! I was able to communicate a bit with the staff. Everyone was friendly and took good care of my wife and me. The property was well maintained, and the pool was refreshing, especially considering how hot it was; it was not heated. "Xandari was awesome! We loved the villa, the property, the people and the food! The views are spectacular and food was super fresh. My family loved the spacious villa and walking around the grounds. It’s also very convenient to the San Jose airport. We loved it so much we came back at the end of our trip to stay another couple of nights! "
