"The views are absolutely breathtaking, easily the standout feature of the property. Whether you’re overlooking the ocean at sunset or walking through the grounds, the scenery is stunning. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with lush landscaping that really adds to the overall experience. Most of the staff around the hotel were warm, welcoming, and very helpful, which made navigating the property and enjoying the amenities easy. That said, the dining experience fell short. The restaurant staff were not as friendly, and the service felt subpar compared to the rest of the hotel. The menu lacked variety, and it felt like there were very limited options—almost like you were stuck eating the same meals repeatedly. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t stand out either. Because the hotel is quite secluded, you don’t have many alternatives unless you’re willing to travel about 30 minutes into town, which can be inconvenient if you’re relying on the on-site dining. On a positive note, the private beach was a nice feature and a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, Villa Caletas offers incredible views and a beautiful, peaceful setting, but improvements to the restaurant experience and menu variety would make a big difference."

"Los empleados en general son muy amables, el transporte del hotel es muy eficiente y los señores muy amables, las camas muy cómodas y las sábanas de buena calidad, los paños y toallas de igual calidad, el restaurante tiene muy buena calidad de productos, dos estaciones para los omelets, y son muy rápidos, me sentí segura para haber ido solo mi hija de 5 años y yo, regresaremos con mi esposo, hay una pops en la esquina, vimos 10 lapas que viven sobre el hotel, el proyecto de conservación de la lapas es muy hermoso e interesante, la pasamos muy bien, la comida en los restaurantes está bien, no es ni barato ni caro, hay que tomar en cuenta que es un lugar turístico, pero vale 100% la experiencia, y es muy cerca de San José 2 horas, "

"The most excellent and friendly staff one could ask for. The common areas were always well kept and in good condition. The room was very clean and cozy. A perfect stay if traveling in Monteverde. "

"Room was clean and spacious, large bathroom, shuttle staff were very friendly. Had a great view from room and able to see lots of different wildlife - recommend watching sunset and night tour - was disappointed had to pay additional $20 to hike trail at the top of the hill. Breakfast buffet was ok - traditional Costa Rica breakfast options. Wish the pool bar was opened longer to have time to swim and relax after done with tourist attractions and supper"

"They allow you to check in an use some of the amenities earlier. They also give you a hotel brazalet that it's comfortable and nice, you can take it off to sleep or shower and reduces contamination as compare the regular plastic versions. The staff is super friendly, great music, great food and excellent price. We witness how the surf instructor risk his life to save a group that nearly drowned ant this just tells you about the quality of the staff personnel. A great sunset view - a place you definitely should stay."
