"The resort was beautiful. Only issue is it did not say on the website that the part of the beach by the resort is not swimmable. You would have to walk a ways down the beach to swim in the water. Also- the jacuzzi was not heated. Staff was helpful! Room was beautiful!"

"No TV in the room was a shocker. Never seen that before and I've been all over the world. Also, being so humid, mister fans bar the bar would be perfect. I'm surprised the owners didn't think about that. If you make it comfortable to eat, people will dine there and spend money $$$."

"My wife and I loved Clarita’s. The property is prestine and newly remodeled. The downstairs cafe/bar and sushi restaurant were excellent. The ocean views and sunsets were incredible either on the beach or the rooftop deck. It was truly a magical experience. Additionally, the rooms and bathrooms were roomy and super clean and the toilets! Japan style they were honestly a game changer. "Pumilio Mountain & Ocean Hotel was the perfect place to begin our Costa Rica adventure. Located between San José and Jacó, it made the first drive from the airport easy and stress-free. The hotel is just minutes from Jacó, yet it feels like you're surrounded by lush jungle. The property is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, a lovely pool, and an open-air restaurant and spa. "This was an excellent place to stay and the breakfast was amazing. Just be aware our room was right next to the road so there was a bit of traffic noise. Also, the only lock is the keypad. There is no secondary swing lock inside of the room to keep someone from entering. Otherwise it is a very beautiful boutique hotel."
