"The staff were lovely and the rooms were great! Such nice views and both the dinner and breakfast was so good! Would definitely recommend!"

"Very nice hotel close to Issyk Kul. Lovely professional staff who were very helpful and provided exceptional service. Highly recommended. "

"The hotel has been conceived in a modern style but there is certainly no upkeep. Broken fixtures, lack of cleanliness, hot shower not working, blocked drains and many other issues spoiled our stay. Breakfast served in the room was a big disappointment. For the money charged, it should have been much better rather than a nominal cold platter with no variety at all. After a lot of debate (that wasted our time and took us off our holiday mood), we got 25% of the booking amount paid back into our...

"Friendly staff and great food at restaurant"

"Amazing stay. Friendly and super helpful staff. Felt like home. Super recommended "

"Novel Hotel is a relatively modern resort on the shores of Lake Issyk-kul. It's location is at the far end of the strip of resorts centered around Cholpon-Ata. There are only a few General stores around the local Village and no restaurants, so eating options are restricted to the resort itself. The hotel restaurant, next to the swimming pool, provides good standard of food at a relatively expensive price. The big advantage of Novel is its frontage to a pleasant and private beach that although...

"Excellent hotel, would certainly recommend."

"The place is very special with a breathtaking view! The yurts and glamping units are clean with tumble toilets. There is now light or sound pollution so you can enjoy peace and nature. "

"We have lived in Kyrgyzstan for over a year. I thought this hotel was nice, the facilities are updated and the staff was kind and helpful. If you come from America, like I do - realize you are on the Kyrgyz time. They will serve the meals at set times - it may not be all day. Be willing to be flexible and enjoy how they do things, you will have a lovely time. "

"Came for a week during the off-season (September). Good: Price was good, scenery was excellent, environment was peaceful and quiet, cabin was well-maintained with good cooking/sleeping/bathroom facilities. Bad: We didn’t realize the resort was in a park and entrance tickets needed to be purchased daily, including for Yandex (Russian Uber) drivers. In addition, the Yandex price was a whopping 4-5 times higher to go to Karakol from Ski Paradise compared to ordering a ride around town. Ugly:...

"The overall experience is great, but the water current can be improved (or else it would takes so long to wash all the shampoos for a long hair girl like me), esp after the 3D2N hiking trip."

"浴室の水はけが悪かった。 英語でのコミュニケーションが難しいのでgoogle translateは必須。 猫達やよく手入れされたきれいな庭園に癒された。 ホテルで提供する食事は、ホームメードの感じで普通のレストランでは味わえない。"

"Excellent guest house, very clean, friendly staff, very affordable, and very good breakfast. Short taxi ride or walk to shops and restaurants in Karakol"
