It looks like nothing from the outside. And inside, I'd describe the rooms as 'pretty good'. But that's not why you stay here. Go to this random village near the banks of beautiful Issy-kul Lake and as soon as you meet your host Tamara, you'll understand why this is such a gem. She's fascinating, helpful, curious, kind and full of generosity and despite this being a quiet two road village, your stay here could very well be the highlight of your visit to Kyrgyzstan, as it was for me. #kyrgyzstan #silkroute #villagelife

"There was a dead mouse with flies and maggots in the first room given to me. Attention was lacking. They gave me another room and apologized. There was a live mouse in the next room. Careful with bringing groceries, but this is necessary as no dinner was available. The owner didn’t seem too interested in providing a good experience but maybe it was a cultural and language barrier. I didn’t like the floodlight 100 ft outside my room. Darkness to be able to appreciate the stars fully would be better, but maybe it is a safety issue. Breakfast was good. The dog onsite is playful and means well but can get bitey when playing. Treats you more like another dog. Also, she is a bit rough with the kitten onsite. Overall good experience and i would stay again. Good for what is available in the area, though not the best. We had a private shower and toilet in a side room. Shower hot water was VERY difficult to control. It is right near the beach. 2-3 minute walk and can hear the waves. Nice swings on the beach. Good place. 3.5 out of 5. Check your room. The drapes around the periphery can hide things and difficult to clean under them. "
