"Great price and a lovely clean and friendly hotel"

"Mooie kamer, met uitkijk op de prachtige en rustige tuin en bij warm en aangenaam weer, kan ook gebruik gemaakt worden van ‘t zwembad. Het hotel, is gunstig gelegen, nabij de stad Auxerre, op loopafstand, goed te bereiken. Parkeer-gelegenheid inbegrepen."

"Disappointed - this is not a boutique hotel. It’s an old building with a huge recent annex with 47 rooms! Almost no charm left. And no proper coffee at breakfast - too many people for the machine! Pity - was looking forward to a boutique hotel stay."

"So, I had to book this as it was so cheap and everything else was 4 times as much. I did not gave high expectations as in fairness it was excellent value. However, I had difficulty getting in my room due to the door code not working. The showers has no towels and the toilets had no seat. The rooms were hot and so I opened the window and the noise then came through from voices outside and motorbikes. In the end I slept. Which is what mattered as I had been cycling all day. By the way the breakfast option really is not worth it. Best find somewhere else to have breakfast. The only occasion that I would rebook in this type of hotel is if there was no where else to sleep at all. Better than a park bench"

"Great spot by the river. The bar area was excellent. We didn’t have breakfast as 18 euros each. On site car parking was very good. Staff were exceptional and so helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel"
