"Warm and friendly welcome. Spacious room with remarkable view of the square and Duomo. Rooftop bar and terrace bar really great for soaking up Florence vibe. Staff excellent throughout.

"The wireless worked well. The room was clean, although the bedspread is beyond its reasonable life-- it's stained and dull. Some of the stains are large: yuck. The property is difficult to access. Check in time is 3:00 p.m., but you are warned ahead of time that there may not be someone there to check you in so you have to contact them beforehand. There is a locked front door, and you have to ring the doorbell for someone to let you in. There is an elevator, but you have to haul your luggage up...
