Cari Hotel di East Riding of Yorkshire

"If this isn’t the most expensive place in town, it must be pretty close. We were lucky, we feel, to get a room in the modern extension. It was a corner room and remarkable. The girl at the front desk tried to upgrade us for money and with her accent I couldn’t quite understand what the benefit to a different room would have been. It is hard for me to imagine a bedroom at this hotel. We used the spa and it is quite lovely and recently redone. However, a few of the features were not in operation,...

"The property was extremely well suited for the name. The decor was thoughtfully done. The concerns I have were due to the noise element, lack of proper ventilation. Being right next to a pub makes sleeping very very difficult. In addition, our hot water shower system did not function."

"Lovely hotel with good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. I traveled to York by train, so the location of this hotel next to the station was perfect for me. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Room was clean, Free breakfast was amazing!! Parking isn’t on site so you have to pay for parking. We used a van so it was even harder to find a place to park. Other than that the stay was really nice and our room was really nice."

"I thought this hotel was fantastic, I loved my room, they had a great fitness room and pool area, the staff was excellent, and the restaurant and bar was outstanding. Both the food and drink, and the staff were wonderful, thank you love to come stay again."

"The room was excellent and clean"

"Great place to stay to explore the delights of York."

"Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 "

"You know exactly what you’re getting here. Nice rooms, great location."

"Hotel needs updating all areas and cleanliness is impacted as a result. Description in Expedia indicates they have clothes washing machines which they do not. Mid trip for us so we depended on the hotel amenity description. Clothes wash machines or sending out with a timely return of laundry neither of which was available. Staff was all pleasant in our interactions."

"La habitación fue buena, el personal muy amable y siempre disponible para dar servicio, el desayuno aceptable, la ubicación muy buena."

"Everything is lovely. The breakfast is brilliant."

"The hotel was Clean. As a lone female traveller i booked a cosy double. It would have been that you’re told the room is outside of the main hotel. When told this at reception when booking in I said I wanted to safely open windows and was told it was safe. When I reached my room there was one very small window at the side of the door. The position of the room itself was in the service yard! Opposite bins and dirty laundry stacks. The room was very dark indeed. I requested a fan and it was brought...

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Four of us rented an apartment in the cloister, which was very quiet and clean. It was conveniently located, not far from the train station and just across the river from York old town. It was great to have our own kitchen facilities. The furniture in the living room was colorful but uncomfortable, springs and stuffing were shot. And the dining table was in a corner only 4 small children could have squeezed into. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms warm and clean. We enjoyed our stay."
