"Service, location, friendly accommodating staff made us feel like home. Kanchanjungha views from hotel view point.. outside some rooms, dining hall, outside reception.. everywhere. Gave some suggestions and feed back to the general manager who was very appreciative of the constructive feed back. Passion of the staff to serve customers is unparalleled and trickles down from the leadership of Debarya, who seems to talk about the resort like it's his baby. "We had an amazing stay at ging tea house
It is a rare gem hidden in the mountains with breathtaking views. The property manager Mr.
Andrew made sure our stay was memorable. He helped us with the directions. He and his team work day and night to make sure we have tasty food for breakfast lunch and dinner and making nice dargeeling tea for us.
The property is located in the mountains with lots of greenery and small hikes to explore the tea plantations. Will definitely visit here again. "

"This hotel does not have bad amenities but a terribly reluctant management. Basically, the answer was 'no, sorry we cannot' to every request. We even had to insist and fight to have laundered sheets put on our beds as the bed we were given had unwashed, stained sheets. It did have a nice rooftop deck with a wonderful mountain view. Also the lobby was quite nice even if extremely cold; we asked that the fireplaces be turned on, to which they said 'no' so we could not really hang out there.

"Hotel lied when they advertised through Expedia. Such as their website said Central Heating but no heating facility in the room, They charged me for portable Heater. I complained to Expedia they did not do anything."
