"Quintessential perfectly preserved beautiful British Raj hill station hotel Darjeeling full of historical artefacts at the end of the mall with some views. "The hotel’s approach is soo steep, we had to think twice before heading out each time. They should offer complimentary shuttle service at least. Not recommended for elderly travelers. "The hotel itself is attractive and well appointed Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Coffee/bakery is fantastic. The setting is in a congested section of the Darjeeling bazaar without on site parking making arrival and departure complicated. We enjoyed our stay. "
