"This is the best hotel in Trincomalee. The staff are the loveliest, kindest staff, and they made our time there feel like home. The food is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan food as well as European/US, but they even made us egg hoppers on request.... Its that we're not on the menu. So I cannot praise them highly enough. We will return here. "

"Easy walk to the beach. Lovely swimming pool. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Room is fairly small but has all you need. Good airconditioning. TV with English film channels. "Very close to jump off point for Pigeon Island. Budget room was very clean but very hot despite the fan. No ventilation and windows didn’t open. Check in and checkout were really slow. Was quite disappointed with the friendly, but exceedingly unhelpful staff - not what I would expect at this more expensive property."

Located in the central city area of Trinco, however there is not really much to neither see or do in this area. "Staff is hopeless - not unfriendly but unwilling to help. We were 4 people sharing an apparment, but we could only have 1 key to the door. The reception is not open 24/7 that why, we had major problems only having 1 key. After many and long discussions with the staff, we gave and survived 2 days with just one key. The restaurant is expensive and food is bad. The appartment is nive. Kitchen, 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and a nice livingroom. There were good moments, but we will never come back"

Jag har bara sett värre en gång i Bangkok för 9 år sedan.. vilseledande marknadsföring i sin prakt.. antingen rum mot havet utan toalett och kylskåp eller något.. eller rum med en brötande AC ..sladdar hängande överallt och INGA fönster .
