"My husband and I missed check-in time, but I had called ahead to alert the front desk. Check in was very smooth as a result and we had an upgraded room which was fantastic, especially given this was our honeymoon. The fireplace was a lovely touch that made the evening extra romantic. The shower in the suite was a double shower that came in very handy as well. The property was very clean and the included breakfast was a very pleasant surprise as it wasn't continental. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very comfortable. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the tavern on sight where we mingled with the locals heard the ghost stories about the hotel. Sat on the porch with our coffee in the morning. Just a great place to stay. Will definitely go back. "
