While the hospitality is unique with ladies in kimono bowing & greeting upon arrival & departure, the only odd thing, is no luggage assistance at all and we wonder how the elderly are able to cope. "The hotel parking was difficult to find, ended up parking in a city lot that cost a bit extra. It’s located on a busy road, so it lacks a proper arrival area. It’s close to restaurants and the main area of Kushiro. I thought the room was comfortable and the free breakfast decent."

"What an amazing stay with great food and onsen. The room is spacious and beds are very comfortable, clean and soft. The onsen is with high quality water, a bit busy and clean and therapeutical. It has 2 massage chairs and with gorgeous 13th floor roof-top views. The staff are always trying the provide best possible service to us. We can feel the difference when we are staying at Dormy Inn. "
