"Nice place!"

"Beautiful "on-mountain" property. Rooms were clean. Plenty of food at breakfast with tons of complimentary water bottles to stay hydrated. JP made our group's stay memorable with his warm hospitality."

"The place was a gem. What a beautiful view of the lake. The manager at the lodge was so helpful and friendly. This truly was a relaxing and fun stay. We plan to definitely come back. We had such a got time meeting new people and spending time outside by the fire and watching the lake and the great views."

"Food was good, tasted fresh and cooked right away like a restaurant. He asked me what I wanted like at a real establishment , even took my order early . All homemade ingredients it tasted like. The room itself was clean also , and the staff I did encounter was very friendly as well. Parking wasn’t bad , no complaints there . Overall a very great experience and thank you for a very great experience "

"Old world charm."

"Amazing hot pool, great staff, another marvelous stay very close to the mountain and plenty of other activities. Laundry room is clutch (coin operated machines, change available at front desk). The wife had an injury and wasn't able to navigate stairs all that well, the front desk was understanding and were kind enough to move our room to the main floor, requiring no stairs, while the elevator was being worked on. New ownership is busy making some upgrades and maintenance and hopefully the vibes...

"Our last stay here was great, so we didn’t hesitate to book this hotel again. Unfortunately, this stay was quite disappointing. There were hairs on the pillow, the floor was not so clean, and the shampoo dispenser was empty. The swimming pool was closed for maintenance. On top of that, the breakfast was not really good. Overall, this stay was not like our previous experience, and we were not really happy."

"Lovely hotel ( looks more like condos) on the edge of town surrounded by trees and green. Staff was very helpful and available early and late. We had a suite (highly recommend). Very cute town, good restaurants, farmers market on Saturday. We took the train from Rutland to NYC. It was a 2 hour drive from Albany."

"Very quiet location secluded and peaceful. Location is not identified, no road sign or driveway entrance address. I booked within 3 days of check-in, instructions did not get emailed until after check in time, host did answer phone when called but email was received 30 minutes later. It's a unique place, space is good, lots of amenities to cook and eat. Two bathrooms. Two showers. Lots of hot water and strong water pressure. Most of the unit is updated and modern. However it's tired, worn and...

"4 of us stayed in one room and it was extremely comfortable. Walls are really thin so you hear everything which is tough, but luckily both my kids zonked out from a long day of skiing. Owners were super nice and you’re not going to find a better location. Everything is within 5 min. Excellent stay, will come back."
