"Central location. Room 6th floor quite noisy on road side. Tea tray replenished and towels were replaced however bed not made up? Bathrobes not supplied as we’re supposed to have been. On arrival told breakfast was an extra charge (this was pre paid). Brought all my concerns to attention after checking they said breakfast was included but no outcome with the robes. "The whole hotel needs a revamp. Thread bare carpets, beds so uncomfortable very thin mattress, no heating in bathroom, poor choice of breakfast, staff unhelpful and always absent from their stations. This hotel has previously been given 4 stars which it definitely does not deserve. Will not be staying again. Noise at night from wedding parties."

"Good hotel for price. It’s showing a little wear however, it was very clean and perfect for a one night stay. Other reviews have mentioned proximity to Rock City and some noise but we didn’t hear any noise and it was a Friday night. All staff were super pleasant and nothing was any trouble. Special mention goes to the reception staff who were fantastic."

"On arrival at the Holiday inn, we booked our car in straight away, which was only £5 for the night. We then checked in with the front desk who explained where our room was, we needed to pay a deposit which wasn’t mentioned on booking, but was ok. We went to the room which was spotless & very well designed with the most amazing shower, it was huge….. The bed was massive, made with a quilt and 2 pillows each.
