"We were at deerhurst for a dance competition and the rates at HV were a lot better. We Could walk to the competition and we were away from the crowds "

"Lovely stay on Lake Muskoka with so many amenities. We enjoyed sunbathing on the large deck at waters edge, while others swam, used the free kayaks or canoes. Two swimming pools were also available. Dinner in the Touchstone Grill was excellent. "

"Very basic but seemed clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast food options not for anyone who cares about healthy, quality food. Went down to lobby to get hot water for a tea in the evening and there was none. Not sure if they never do at this hotel ? "
