"Do not believe the pics. The expedia post makes this place look peaceful and isolated. It is not. It is in a busy commercial area. The bay view is scant and the bayside area js unkempt. Breakfast is one of the worst I have seen on this two week trip. Basic and uninspired. But the worst is the feeling that I was duped by the images."

"Lakeside room was wonderful! The outdoor space made for a relaxing evening listening to the waves. The room was clean and just what we needed for a night. The bed was really firm but for one night it was fine."

"This was our first stay in DC and it was so nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. The Fire pits outside were so relaxing to sit by at the end of the day. Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to any need we might have. Would definitely stay here again. The Lodge is centrally located so made it easy to get around Door County quickly."

"Very nice resort! You are on the water and can see Lake Michigan from almost every room balcony or patio! Staff was knowledgeable about the area for food and excursions. Quiet, clean, relaxing, and awesome private beach! Free breakfast had a decent selection to get your day started. Nice indoor pool with hot tub. "Wonderful location and beautiful grounds that are well maintained. The private beach access was a definite plus. There was plenty parking and many shops and restaurants within walking distance or short car ride. We would stay there again."

"Good location, but the place is not as clean and modernly updated as advertised. WiFi worked on and off over our stay, kept cutting in and out. Carpet was old and had an odor to it, photos online were pretty deceiving to reality when we arrived. We made it work though."
