"A lovely welcoming and friendly hotel. Reception was excellent and the hotel set it beautiful grounds with abundant wildlife wandering around the onsite golf course. The spa facilities and gym were well up to date and not crowded on our visit. The breakfast was outstanding and we ate in the bar lounge in the evening with a more than adequate menu. All in all a very chilled and relaxing stay. "

"Tewkesbury Hotel has a great location with beautiful views, and there are a few nice trails nearby that you can access from the golf course. Breakfast was fantastic, but the main menu was a bit hit or miss. The bar was okay — good wine selection, including some great British wines, but it was a shame there weren’t any premium spirits. "Room to a high standard and hotel was well presented. Bed mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. Main disappointment was the staff. Reception staff were robotic and unengaging. Most staff we encountered failed to engage and did not acknowledge our presence. Bar staff were young and inexperienced, hard to get their attention. Great hotel but staff let it down , not sure if we stay again."
