"I was greeted warmly at the front desk and advised that I had received a room upgrade! Our room was clean and spacious with a fridge and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable too. Self-parking was easy with access to the hotel via a lift. We were centrally located in Locarno and close to the waterfront walkway which made for a pleasant evening walk. We were offered a 10% off coupon for breakfast but did not end up using it. Friendly hotel - we would definitely stay there again!"

"Overall Impression:
The Sol Foundation conference was worthwhile, though less engaging than expected. The venue felt cramped, and the bed was undersized and uncomfortably firm. Dining was disappointing by Italian standards—uninspired dishes, with off-tasting bacon and overly runny eggs, compounded by unaccommodating restaurant staff. Bar great ... kid in Hall ...Buzz off

The €100 massage was truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced—and the pool attendant was remarkably kind...

"This was a bucket list experience. The location could not be beat, right in the heart of the old town. Sitting on our balcony watching the day unfold over Lake Maggiore and the Ascona promenade was incredibly beautiful. The staff were excellent and accommodated all of our needs and requests. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. We only stayed 2 nights but we could have spent a much longer time if our schedule allowed. Thank you Hotel Elevezia Ascona for a perfect stay!!"
