"Very calm atmosphere, beautiful scenery and peaceful. I loved every minute of my stay here."

"Extremely spacious, well equipped clean rooms except a couple of the window areas. External stairwell had a lot of flying insects which was off putting (assume attracted inside from woods to the lights)"

"Didn’t like anything about the Strathmore Hotel Morecambe The place was falling to pieces The pictures on the website don’t match the actual place We were booked in for 2 nights but only stayed 1 it was that bad My advice is to avoid this hotel at all costs"

"Best Holiday Inn we've stayed in! We had a disabled access room and it was huge! Very clean. Absolutely most effective AC we've had in a UK hotel! Staff friendly. Hotel welcoming with free refreshments at reception. Breakfast good."

"Always a great stay. Lovely large rooms with great views. It’s perfectly positioned Easy parking and lovely food See you soon"

"The area of the hotel"

"Amazing food, lovely rooms."

"Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile."

"Lovely old building, well located and enough parking at the back of hotel in side street. Comfortable bed, room was well maintained, especially the bathroom. Room was spacious enough for one person."

"Convenient location. Easy parking. Continental breakfast was a bit basic, You get what you pay for and for the low price you can't expect the ritz. Would probably stay there again if I ever go to Morecambe again."

"The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. So for me, it was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't use it to stay and spend time there though as there never seemed to be anyone on the reception or at the bar (which I only visited once) but someone...

"Lovely older style pub hotel close to retaurants and bars. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Bathroom spotless and newly refurbished. Access to parking across the road was easy and perfectly acceptable."

"Lovely renovated sea view room, quiet. Great breakfast. Only downside was the lack of an elevator. Staff were really helpful and allowed a late checkout, organised at breakfast with no problem."

"All was lovely and the host were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."
