"No hot water! This was the only substantial problem of my stay, but very important, as a cold shower has triggered a serious medical condition in me in the past. I dialed 0 an hour before check-out time to report this, but no one answered (during business hours no less). I had to heat cups and an ice bucket of water in the microwave just to take a lukewarm shallow bath, which caused me to overstay my checkout. "House converted to B&B, was double booked so I ended up not getting the room I reserved, but fairly compensated for the mix-up. The owner(s) genuinely care about this place as a business and that was apparent from the very first interactions. Bring your own breakfast or have time to head to a restaurant in the morning because you won't get a decent breakfast here. No restaurants in the neighborhood, have to drive 30 mins to Big Spring for mediocre options or 45 mins to Midland for decent...
