"I arrived when their water was shut off and had a boil notice. I booked this hotel for the restaurant inside. I was put off by the front desk staff when I asked what are some good restaurants around. I just flew from CO to DFW and drove over to Marshall to visit an old camp. I was exhausted. "I booked handicap room and they gave me a room with a bathtub I was unable to take a shower at all. Our bedding had to be completely changed including the duvet cover due to questionable stains, had to ask front desk several times to send housekeeping. Only 1 elevator was working. The breakfast quality was poor, many items were not offered. We wore socks the entire time we were in the room and the soles were dirty."

The pre-paid breakfast is well worth the money and saves about half the cost of paying at the restaurant itself. The rooms are clean and hotel is updated and offers great amenities. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area."
