"The Eugene Hotel is a beautifully renovated boutique hotel located right near the downtown square of Monroe. I would return to stay there in a heartbeat. The owners are dedicated to creating a positive experience for their guests. Wonderful hotel."

"Great place"

"The cabin was beautiful!! It felt so homey and comfortable, we’re so grateful for how welcoming our hosts were as well! "

"Beautiful location in the rolling hills of the area. The cabin is really nice, cozy and clean with every amenity we needed. We had a couple questions and the host was very nice and quickly responded to the questions. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Clean room and very quiet"

"I had a business trip to Freeport and the Country Inn was quick and easy—no complaints and recommended for anyone staying in the area."

"This hotel is located in an older 7 story building in the middle of Freeport IL. This area appears to be blighted with homeless and older Section 8 housing nearby so the 2 parking lots to the south and west of the facility are somewhat sketchy. With that being said the hotel staff are first rate and. Very accommodating. The breakfast was very good and the rooms were flawless. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future."

"Breakfast was great! Air con worked and was tidy."

"It was perfect clean and peaceful"
