As many other reviewers have pointed out, the property is being remodeled, but they've obviously started with the rooms, which are, after all, the most important part. The exterior still needs some work, but that's in progress, along with other big plans for the property."

"We did not stay at the Econo Lodge. It was not at all what the pcitures represented. The lady behind the desk did not speak good english and she was unable to assist with changing my stay from a no show to cancellation. We felt very unsafe. There were some very undesirable people (men) hanging out outside that just stared at us making us feel very uncomfortable. Inside a guy checking in arguing about having to use a card for incidentals. The room was for my daughter, granddaughter and myself....

"Owners were very helpful when I had a problem with self checkin. We enjoyed the trail behind the property after a long drive. There is a bit of traffic noise on US 2 , but after around 9:00 it did quiet down. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank you!"
