"The room was very clean and had a beautiful deck with table and chairs. I loved the fact that it was like camping with the nature of it all without the fuss. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because of the noise of the shower next door. We got a cabin that was attached to another and when they took a shower the next morning it was really loud. "

"Great clean, comfortable, updated hotel in Keystone. Loved balcony, had a view of a small part Mount Rushmore. Although we were in town and close to a bunch of eateries the walk up and down the steep hill was too much for our senior legs. Would return again "

"There are a lot of steps to the cabins or rooms up the hill. So, if you have old achy knees, think twice. We had to walk up 16 or more stone steps up a steep embankment to get to our room. Painful! Most cabins or room had wooden steps. The good part was the staff were nice, helpful, friendly. The on-property restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner and was very good and reasonable. Had a beautiful setting."

"With a 'cabinisque' feel to our room (1 bedroom / 2 full ). It was very comfortable. We even used the pull out - and with the firm foam it was actually quite comfortable as well. The staff was very friendly. It is close to town (walking distance if you want). Easy access to Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Custer St Park. "

"The inn is super cute and very close to Custer. Easy to get to many attractions such as Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Hwy etc. The staff was very friendly. Fiona was extra nice and very helpful at check in. There is an indoor and outdoor pool that are very well kept and a hot tub. Games around the property, swing set, workout bars and rings and a tennis court. The cafe next door was a great place for a quick breakfast. The room had a fridge and microwave, coffee maker,...

"The hotel was great for low frills. Location is everything...there was so much to see and do within walking distance. It is so close to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Our first night in Keystone a severe thunderstorm knocked out power to entire town for about five hours. Not the hotel problem, but unfortunate nonetheless. There were many of us outside on the patio and deck for about an hour. We went to bed without electricity. The pool is insanely cold. COLD. The hot tub was great...

"Hotel is in the middle of renovation. There was old stuff outside the front and the back from renovation. Was quit, beds were comfy, lady at the front desk was nice. "
