"The room had a smell of a dirty wet mop. The carpets were either laundered and not properly dried or the previous occupants caused the carpet to be wet. Additionally the AC did not work properly and continuously turned off, had to manually turn it back on every couple of hours."

"We picked this for our 2 night memorial weekend stay. It was so close to Hilton heads beaches it worked perfect for us!! Ample parking, a pool, luggage carts, nice room. Only thing in the queen bed rooms that sucks is the bathroom sliding door is terrible. Either it gets stuck and you have to try to get out or it doesn’t stay fully closed. "So this is actually a vacation club that they try to get you to sit through a 45 minute sales. The room was good and it is a nice and quiet property. There is a couple things I did not like. First, check in starts at 4 pm and at 4:42 we received a call asking when we plan to check in, we were stuck in traffic. I thought this was crazy! Next, you have to turn down the sales pitch. "First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. With the exception of two of the staff, most of the staff were just barely cordial. The rooms...

"We had a great experience here. If you have never stayed before, your second night is free and that was in addition to the low price to begin with. It is not fancy but it is clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful, snacks were appreciated and coffee was good. Walmart is across the street and beaches were close. We would definitely recommend!"
