"Booked without realizing it was outside of Puerto Vallarta. One of my best mistakes to date. It is a little expensive to get to by taxi, and extra $50 we didn't plan on but in the end it was sooo worth it. This place is tranquil and good for the soul. There is a small stream behind the hotel with a manmade sandbar in it with 3 beach chairs. Waterfall about 4 steps away from that. Perfect place to read or just listen to nature and reconnect with oneself. The wifi was not working while we were...

"The hotel is located in a quiet location surrounded by the mountains. Far enough from the touristic buzzy Puerto Vallarta, however not too far from the great secluded beaches you can reach from Boca by boat or a nice hike from there.
The cooking course is fun and a great experience. Harvesting from the local garden and cooking, eating and drinking the Mexican way.
