"Hotels nice, but the staff make it. We were able to check in early, which really suited our plans. We were given a welcome drink too which was a lovely surprise. Particular mention to the lady who checked us in and lady on the bar."

"We stayed for two nights to look round Bristol city center and to see a show at the Hippodrome theater the locations suited us well and easy walking distance to the Hippodrome. The room was clean and quiet with a very roomy bathroom with fitted shower, large bed that was very comfortable,there was also air conditioning very welcome as we visited during a heatwave, there was also a safe located in the wardrobe. we did not eat at the hotel, it was conveniently next to Cabot Circus. "From start to finish the service was excellent. Lovely room refurbished to a high standard. Very clean and a large comfortable bed. Would definitely use this hotel again. Special mention for Stuart on the front desk who i spoke to the day before on the phone explaining my wife had a broken foot and could we check in a little earlier. He arranged the early check in and when i turned up he was very helpful and made the whole experience a pleasure. He is a credit to the hotel. "

"The location was great, service great, breakfast great. The only let down was the cleanliness of the bathroom as it had an ambulant disabled bathroom which was a wet room but unfortunately you could see the scum marks around the edges of the coved flooring. Just needs a good scrubbing. But apart from that it was great."
