"The room was amazing and so comfortable, the staff were lovely and couldn't have done anymore to make our stay special. The food was phenomenal and after seeing the prices we will definitely be planning on visiting more often with our family. Cannot wait to see the renovation but hope the same feeling stays about the place as it is such a special venue for us as a family. We got married there and love the old Scottish feel about the place. "

"We have just had the most incredible stay since the minute we arrived on Friday. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. Jasmine in the Spa is deserving of a special mention. As someone who rarely gets treatments, I was very unsure of myself she immediately put me at ease as well as delivering the most relaxing salt scrub. "We were kept waiting at check in while the person on reception finished typing an e-mail. No acknowledgement of our existence whatsoever. We had read other reviews which said 'avoid room 44'. Guess what room we were given ? We requested a change of room, and were given room 45, next door ! Comfy bed was a plus. Breakfast was adequate.
