"Lovely place but a bit run down. Very welcoming staff and good breakfast. "

"Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds. No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "

"The most wonderful stay Jean and his wife could not have been better great welcome and recommendation for a restaurant and the most amazing house and setting a sincere thank you"

"A fantastic couple of days and nights were spent at Chateau Vary. The property is glorious, the amenities are fabulous, the hospitality from the lovely owners was fantastic. Breakfast and dinner was beautiful. Definitely recommend and definitely coming back. "

"A perfect Loire Valley chateau experience. We had a lovely room , enjoyed the breakfast and we close to many sites to visit"

"Charming place to stay and you support a good cause at the same time. "

"Beautiful property. Perfect stay."

"A nice stopover on our way back from bergerac to calais"

"Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."

"Fine for an overnight stay with comfortable beds, although our room had a really strong and foul smell of sewage. Would not visit again for that reason."

"Very nice location and excellent room."

"Nice Hotel, comfortable beds and good breakfast"

"Easy access, easy parking, just what you want in a trip. Quite, a little isolated, but there is one good restaurant next to it. Nice personal,"

"Great ovetnight stop for a motorcycle trip , supermarket 5 mins away , resturant was really nice , bar on site , only thing i would say is no cvtv in car park but bikes were fine as it is in really nice area "

"Excellent campsite, the perfect size for us as we are not a fan of large campsites. It is was fairly quiet and the accommodation (we stayed in a cabin) was clean, modern and reasonably well spaced. It was very well equipped and little items like a dish cloth and washing liquid ect just make the difference. It is just a really well done site. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. Our 3 year old loved the pool."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La chambre était impeccable, le petit-déjeuner délicieux et les hôtes étaient d’une grande gentillesse et toujours disponibles. Le petit plus qui fait la différence : la piscine, très agréable ! Nous recommandons cette adresse sans hésiter. A très vite …."

"Excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and cheerful. Good breakfast. I would definitely stay again and recommend it. "
