"The front desk staff were awful, rude and dishonest. I walked in to book our stay, and the staff told me no more rooms available when I clearly see there were still 6 rooms on Expedia. She didn’t even bother to check their computer system, but instead just look at me and said “we have no rooms available.” We had a long day of hiking so I just went ahead and booked from Expedia, and it was super expensive—$986 for 2 nights stay.
The second staff who check us in was also rude and not friendly at...

"This is a delightfully unique property with outstandingly friendly, polite and attentive staff. It may be owned by a big chain, but it is as charming and gracious as any bed and breakfast inn. We feel we found the best accommodations in Juneau and right down the street (4-5 miles) from the only glacier park you can drive to. Our room (201) was spacious, clean, cozy and well appointed. I am a particularly fussy traveler but have to say I was so pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this...

"We had a medical emergency in Anchorage airport. Our group felt it safer to fly back to pdx rather than proceed on to Kodiak Island. We were traveling with 4 friends so we canceled our 3 rooms in Kodiak. Best Western Kodiak charged us for 2 full nights on our 3 rooms and only refunded 3rd night!!! Better to be hospitalized in a large city and not Kodiak Island! My husband was admitted to ICU in pdx and is doing better.
So sad to miss Kodiak and Dutch Harbor.😞😞😞😞😞😞"

"Coast Inn was a great choice for us. Next time we fly in to Anchorage, we will definitely stay here again. The shuttle was very easy, it's the airport shuttle to the airport parking lot. The Inn is adjacent to the parking lot and the shuttle makes a stop right in front of the Inn. The restaurant is very good, we had both breakfast and dinner there. Staff is friendly and courteous. We enjoyed walking around the seaplane airport which was directly across the street."
