"Staff in the bar were rushed off their feet. We had to wait a long time to order dinner and then a long time for it to arrive. They then tried to charge us for a different tables drinks which came to over 130 euros but our whole bill was only around 30! We wouldn’t order dinner there again but the setting was nice and parking was easy enough. The towels were soft and the bed was comfortable. The pool was quite busy even at 8pm."

"We had an okay stay here but wouldn’t stay again. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, many hairs in the shower. The rooms weren’t serviced once and didn’t have many useful amenities (no kettle, no bathroom toiletries like shampoo), couldn’t open the windows and occasionally had a drain smell. Breakfast was ok but very over crowded, had to queue for over five minutes for some hot water on one of the mornings. However, the staff were helpful and it’s in a good location."

"Very cool hotel! If you want to treat yourself after completing the Camino, this is the place. Beautiful rooms bordering on luxurious, and a very welcoming and helpful staff. The pool is small but pleasant, although indoors. A short walk to the cathedral, and not much further to all the shopping and dining. A grand old building all around."

The Superior double room was spacious and comfortable with a good shower, working air con, fridge and simple tea/coffee making. There was quite a lot of traffic noise at night and no view, but everything was clean and functional. The staff were helpful and efficient. "It was my first time in spain and for someone that doesn’t really speak fluent spanish the staff was very helpful. The taxi service they call is fast and they let us keep our bags in storage for our last day even though we checked out at 12pm our train to madrid wasn’t until 8pm so we were able to walk around without bringing the luggage everywhere"
