"Was told room is not available, hotel is booked and that Expedia made the mistake! We had to beg for a room that we had confirmed. We arrived around 9:15 pm and was told checking in had to be done at 4. Never heard you have to be there on a first come first serve basis to stay -plus it was a comfort inn not Quality Inn as stated in Expedia App. Half the building looks like water damage. The AC unit in room is horrible noise and you can’t adjust the
Vent. "

"I reserved a one bedroom king and when I got there, they said they had none available and told me I would have to get a two bed queen and said that reservations were first come first serve. that is literally the opposite of what a reservation is.
When I entered the room, it was a bug on the floor, the sheets were dirty, there were holes in the walls, and the safety bar on the door was broken. I went back. To the front desk and told them that the room was not clean, and I wouldn’t be safe...

"For the price it was adequate. The room was clean, but shop worn. The amenities were a TV, a microwave, a hair dryer, and a small refrigerator. We only used the refrigerator, and it worked fine. The king size bed was not as firm as we like, but we both slept fine. The receptionist I would not characterize as a people person and English was a bit of a challenge for her. "Do not stay at this hotel. The pictures posted online appear to be from years ago when the hotel first opened and do not accurately reflect its current condition.
All of the furniture is outdated, and although the beds were made, the covers and pillows were dirty and unsanitary. The overall condition of the property felt poorly maintained and uncomfortable.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here."

"Nice, simple, affordable room. We were in the area for an overnight stay and this fit what we needed. It was a little further than I realized from where we were for our visit but that was my fault. "What a lovely place! The property is gorgeous, rooms were clean. My toddler had the time of her life at the river pool and collecting shells at the beach. The fitness center was nice. Staff were exceptionally helpful! The only thing I didn't love were the food options - fine for a night but next time we will bring food or explore Williamsburg for better veggies, proteins and healthy options. Overall we had so much fun we booked our next stay before we left!"

"Our room seemed clean except for the floor. It felt sticky and my sock feet got dirty walking around in the room. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was skimpy, but the worst thing was how small the eating area was. There was a sign that said it was forbidden to take your breakfast back to your room. What are you supposed to do when there is nowhere to sit? Considering the reasonable cost, we were happy enough there."

"The only reason I assessed this hotel as OK is because it is priced reasonably low and we had a comfortable night sleep. It took 90 minutes to change the batteries of the smoke detector in our room, which was chirping. The outside property is not well kept. We stayed at this hotel because the location was favorable and they accepted pets, though they apparently changed that policy since the time I made the reservation. It will do for a night's stay if you don't want to spend much, but we won't...
