"A couple of repair details that should have been seen by the staff previously. We noticed a light bulb out and the 'breakfast nook' table that was supposed to be secured to the wall was coming apart. We only noticed it on the day we were leaving, but if we had sat at the table and put weight on it, it could have collapsed."

"The property was fine, however there was a dance competition with a hoard of maybe 8 - 12 year girls and their families. So it was very loud, and when the kids went to bed, the mothers were out in the halls carrying on. The hotel did move me to a higher floor, but it was very busy."

"The room was not properly cleaned, though the staff was helpful. The exhaust fan in the washroom not working. The fridge smelled awful. The wifi connection was very very poor.There was only one water dispenser in the hotel that was in the gym. The reason why I gave 3 star is because atleast the kids were able to enjoy the pool and the bowling alley attached to the facility(at extra cost). The breakfast was at additional cost but was good."

"Motel room was very clean with up-to-date modern furniture/fixtures, comfortable bed with nice soft linens. Large clean bathroom and towels. Lots of parking spots and the staff were helpful and friendly. The Motel on-premise cafe food was very good. The Kent Motel is in a good location to the historic downtown, Shaw Festival Theatre, restaurants and wineries. "The rooms were impeccable. The breakfast was outstanding. But, the biggest highlight of the stay was the host Joyce. She was the most welcoming, friendly and happy host that we have ever had. She made us feel so welcome and like we were visiting family. Thank you Joyce."
