"If you are a bit of a snob (which I am), this property will not live up to the other reviews you see here about cleanliness. This hotel was not clean, in my opinion. The towels had stains. The bedding had stains. I would not sit on the sofa. It was disgusting. The staff tried their best to accommodate us when we asked to change rooms because the first room smelled like someone had been sick in it. I could not wait to leave. Big pool. "The staff was great . What you pay for and the room didn’t match . I know the location of it was really good . Walking distance from the beach But the walls in the bathroom were chipped. The dresser was chipped as well the fridge was dirty. Under the bed and drawers were dusty A plus was The bed was clean For it being the historic place there is a certain way the facility should be and it didn’t match the vintage historic look."

"The room was not clean. It had writing on the walls and the furniture had scratches and looked old which is surprising how well the property looked on the outside of the building. Very deceiving from the pictures for advertising We could hear music playing in the room from The bar area. and they charge $50 a night for parking! They could not find a different room to accommodate us so we checked out immediately. Very deceptive advertising and very disappointed with the Hilton."

"They never cleaned the pool it was full of sand and the room was never cleaned the sand on the floor was terrible room air didn't really work we had to move from our ocean view because of the air but the air was the same I had to buy a fan and still was not cool not enough hot water and poor pressure they did give us a discount on the room when we had to move but I would never stay again"
