"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. The room and place were lovely and quite modern considering how old the building is. There was only one shower towel and half a toilet roll when we checked into our room, as well as 1 of each tea/coffee so it seemed our room was prepared for one, however the staff were very helpful to sort this for us straight away. The location was good for what we wanted, and we enjoyed a lovely evening in Chinnor (although be aware it's a 30 minute walk on...

"Room very cold, no staff on site overnight, no food available (breakfast or dinner) we only stayed one night instead of two. The email received prior to arriving stated that breakfast and dinner would be available, staff dismissive regarding no food situation."

"Great room with cooking faculities, staff were super helpfull and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location which is a short and pleasant walk into Cambridge centre. You get what you pay for at this hotel which is an all round luxurious hotel experience."

"Room was comfortable. Parking outside hotel available and an easy 15 min walk into the town centre. Only thing was the noise from other guests as you can hear everyone come and go and there were kids running around the corridor until 1am on my first night."

"We book the hotel, When we arrived at the hotel ,was told they had no rooms available. also they said that they couldn’t find our booking , then said that something may be available at a different hotel, when looked at the place there was no suitable parking . Also the man had not been able to confirm with the hotel, They now say there was a room and have kept our money."

"When we got in the room , at first glance nice and tidy we never inspected room thoroughly on day two my wife went to turn radiator down and there was a used condom behind it we were horrified, when we told reception she turned to us smiling and said sorry. This is only one of several major faults with this doss house we shall never return to. It makes me and my wife sick at the thought of us sleeping in it."
