"The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. "Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."

"The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. "The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "For a budget hotel (although I did stay in a Premium room) the room was really quiet and the bed was large. I slept really well. Lovely shower, fun design details - painting, large lamp, coffee machine. The room felt spacious. I’d stay again."
